TUITION 2026–2027
DC has the most expensive child care in the nation, with infant care averaging $2,363 per month. NIDO's rates are positioned competitively against major NW DC providers — Bright Horizons ($2,300+), KinderCare ($2,100+) — while offering the only full Spanish immersion program in the quadrant. Tuition covers a hot bilingual lunch, two snacks, all materials, daily Brightwheel updates, and every field trip inside DC.

NIDO participates in the DC Child Care Subsidy Program. Families with income up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (approximately $90,000 for a family of four) qualify for initial enrollment, and may maintain the subsidy up to 85% of DC Median Income ($134,160 for a family of four). Subsidy payments are accepted directly from the District.
Tuition is reported annually to OSSE. Annual increases of 3–5% are standard in the DC market and will be communicated to families at least 60 days in advance.
