FINANCIAL ACCESS
NIDO participates in the DC Child Care Subsidy Program. Families with income up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (approximately $90,000 for a family of four) qualify for initial enrollment, and may maintain the subsidy up to 85% of DC Median Income ($134,160 for a family of four). Subsidy payments are accepted directly from the District.
Tuition is reported annually to OSSE. Annual increases of 3–5% are standard in the DC market and will be communicated to families at least 60 days in advance.
THE DETAILS
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, year-round. Closed on federal holidays and two staff professional-development days per year.
Five-minute grace period after 6:00 PM. After that, $1 / minute / child. Repeated late pick-ups trigger a conference with the Center Director.
Currently building a pre-enrollment waitlist for a Fall 2026 opening. Enrollment ramps from an opening cohort through full capacity across our launch classrooms, with additional rooms planned as we grow.
